2017 art season

The 2017 Outdoor Art Season has begun.  I’ve greatly enjoyed creating new paintings.  We’ll be exhibiting at Art Festivals throughout the Northeast.  We hope to see you at a venue.  Cheers

PROCESS

I start with a blank canvas and my imagination. With the music of the world in the background the designs and colors come naturally. As I apply one color, the next one comes to mind. I’m led to paint abstract, floral and landscape designs. Whether it takes a day, weeks or months I paint until I’m satisfied with the artwork.

ARTIST STATEMENT

I paint what I feel like painting on any given day. What new designs have I been thinking of? What’s my color scheme today? I’m always seeking some magic in my art-something to make me smile-something to make others smile as well.

I grew up in London, England on Montigue Street across the street from the historic British Museum. After graduating from St. Martin in the Fields School on Trafalger Square I spent ten years on the Continent based in Germany. European and American cultures have influenced my original art. I am a member of the Yale Center for British Art and the Wickford Art Association, Wickford, Rhode Island.
